Mr. Linh Bui has been appointed Smith Motor Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective 1st January 2023.
Mr. Bui joined Smith Motor Group in November 2019 in the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), his appointment to COO & CFO will see his role expand to the formulation and execution of corporate strategy to achieve operational and financial objectives and to continue the group’s growth trajectory.
Smith Motor Group Managing Director, Mr Hans Ehmann said Mr Bui’s elevation to COO and CFO reflects the value he has brought to the business over the past three years.

He has proven to be a successful and trusted leader and this dual appointment is a significant evolutionary step in the management structure of the group as we embark on our next 100 years of business.” stated Mr Ehmann.
Bui, armed with 23 years of industry experience, has held influential Executive roles in the Automotive, Production, Technology and Financial Services industries with extensive experience across Australia, South East Asia and UK markets.
